A cool feature would be to zoom in/out with crtl+mousewheel.

Yes please! It's more important now with high-dpi screens, and Qt's (so far) lousy support for non-integral device pixel ratios. I compensate by not having Qt do the scaling, putting up with small fonts in menus and such, and expecting control-mousewheel to work everywhere for the actual content in the window. So far it works in every browser, Qt Creator, Scite, Inkscape, Gimp, Konsole, etc. Not in quassel though, so I end up running it mostly on a lower-resolution monitor alongside the 4K monitor.
