http://libsigsegv.sourceforge.net/ was recommanded by Flameeyes
The documentation is a bit thin, but it seems to be worth a look, as it works with Linux, Mac OS X and Windows.
Some things that come to my mind:
- on Windows this Lib can only be build statically
- on Linux one should use the lib from the repo
- on Mac OS X we should ship the Lib with the bundle

Fixed for Linux, not needed on Mac, no solution in sight for Windows. Might want to revisit that one once we get a Windows developer. If we ever get one, that is...
