Bug #1888
Quassel monilithic icon not added to menu in windows
0%
Description
Hi,
In windows 10, I installed quassel as user only, with all 3 items selected. (mono, client and core). Client and core icons appeared as expected, but monolithinc client did not. However, client runs and works as expected when running from the run command dialog.

Hi there! Thanks for sharing the details. It sounds like you've done everything right with the installation, but the monolithic icon just isn't showing up in the menu. This seems to be a known issue with Quassel on Windows https://www-homedepotsurvey.com
Here are a few steps you can try to resolve this:
Restart Windows Explorer: Sometimes, restarting Windows Explorer can help refresh the system tray and menu icons. You can do this by right-clicking on the Start menu, selecting Task Manager, finding Windows Explorer under the Processes tab, right-clicking it, and selecting Restart.
Check Settings: Ensure that the "Show system tray icon" option is checked in Quassel's settings. You can find this under Settings -> Interface.
Reinstall Quassel: If the above steps don't work, try uninstalling and reinstalling Quassel, making sure to select all three components (mono, client, and core) again.
Report the Issue: If none of these steps work, you might want to report the issue to the Quassel developers. You can do this on their issue tracker.
