This bug report on the Quassel IRC tracker relates to core communication and initialization handling within the distributed client-server architecture, specifically concerning SignalProxy::handleInitRequest(). It tracks a synchronization or data-handling issue between the Quassel core and its clients during the setup phase.

This is a Quassel warning log, not a fatal error. It means a client is asking the core to sync an IrcUser object that no longer exists on the core side — for example, 1/someuser means network ID 1, nick someuser/fiddlebops .
How to fix it?This is usually the most effective fix. Only reset the client, not the core data, otherwise you may lose chat history and settings.
