Description

Hi, this is a strange issue.

Posting a chat message like "https://anything..." causes the initial [h] character to be truncated from the message.

Posting a chat message like "non-url prefix https://anything..." followed by a message "testing" causes the initial [t] character to be truncated from the followup message.

I can reproduce this every time, the issue does not occur in hexchat.
