Mac monolithic client crash when trying to add certtificate

Description
When trying to add a certificate to an Identity via Preferences --> IRC --> Identities --> Advanced --> Use SSL Certificate --> Load, the app crashes. The specific point where the crash occurs is right after clicking "Open" after choosing the certificate from the Finder window presented after clicking the "Load" button. The same issue was cross-tested in Ubuntu v12.x with the Linux monolithic client v0.8.0 (installed via Ubuntu Software Center) and it does not occur.
I performed this test no less than 5 times just before submitting this defect and while the cert was accepted on the 2nd test (in .cer format), the other 4 attempts all resulted in a crash. While I did attach 2 different crash reports from today's testing, please understand that I have collected several more crash reports since I first encountered this issue just under a week ago.
