Description

I had my Quassel main window lost - literally lost, for a reason I did not know. Quassel functioned fine, connected to the core, but I could not get the client to display anything on my computer. Restarting the client application did not help. The application started fine, even from command line with debug. However, the main Quassel window, where all the chats are, did not show up. Neither did Quassel IRC client full menu menubar. You only could access "Quassel IRC client" menu with Preferences entry. I have been using Quassel for five years or more, so I'd say this was not due to lack of experience.

The reason for the lost main window is that there is a separate Quassel menu tray icon with Restore/Minimize functionality. This minimize functionality is separate from OS provided functionality making it very hard to discover. If one accidentally Minimizes Quassel in this non-native way, getting the main window back is not easy. Even reinstall won't help as reinstall does not clear the setting from the configurations.

I'd suggest remove this functionality, as OS provides minimizing facilities itself, or make it so that window is restored on each start up so that it does not confuse users.
