Quassel IRC

Situation: Bot attacks which involve /msg spam from bots that don't share channels with you
Goal: retrieve a list of their IPs

Current solution: Manually whois each nick to save a list of IPs in the server buffer
Task: Have the IP logged in the same table as the query message and nick
Ideal solution: A script to search logs for the spammed message and get the IP it was from

It should be noted that (pretty obviously) private message line comes with a nick!user@host prefix and there would be no need for Quassel to who or whois the bot.
